Permanent makeup is possible through a procedure called micropigmentation in which pigment is embedded beneath the skin to add permanent color. At SkinHealth Centers, our technicians perform the procedure by hand to ensure optimal results. In addition to defining the eyes, micropigmentation is used to enhance eyebrows and lips.
Many people love the convenience of permanent makeup! It is a good option for people who:
Permanent makeup is most often used for the eyebrows, to line the upper or lower eyelids, and for the lips.
Choose between a soft textured look or hair simulation. If you have no brow hair or sparse brows due to overplucking the difference balanced brows can make is amazing.
We can place “dots” of color between your natural lashes to give your eyelashes a full and lush look; this is called eyelash enhancement.
Lashline enhancement is shading in the lashline for a thicker appearance of eyelashes. Call it a barely-there eyeliner. It is not doing anything to the eyelashes themselves. Eyelashes can be dyed and permed, but that is not what this is. It is also called eyelash enhancement, and it is also not transplanting eyelashes. Lashline enhancement is for people who do not care for eyeliner but look bare without it. Some women like eyeliner on top only or bottom only, and would benefit from using lash enhancement on the unlined portions. Because soft shades are used and less pigment is implanted for lash enhancement, expect it to fade off faster.
Light enhancement is used for men. Many actors and male models have it done. A Heavy enhancement would be used for females. If you prefer, we can create a natural-looking line just above the lash line on the upper or lower lids.
Standard permanent eyeliner is the basic color placement on the upper and lower eyelids. Thickness, length, and color are client preferences. Black-brown is the most popular shade, with the upper eyeliner a little darker than the lower eyeliner.
One option is to outline the lips. With a skilled application, lips can look fuller and more shapely. This fabulous procedure can help to reduce lipstick bleed, ensuring that you have perfect lips at all times.
Full lip color is also available in a subtle shade to crisp, correct, or redefine lips. For a more striking effect, stronger color can be applied.
